Zoro Select 24C326 Copper Compression Lug

The Zoro Select 24C326 is a one-hole copper compression lug built for 2/0 AWG stranded copper conductors. It accepts a 3/8 inch stud and features a long barrel design for secure crimp terminations in electrical panels and industrial equipment.

Installers needing a CSA

Electricians and maintenance technicians working on copper feeder circuits up to 600 V AC will find this lug matches the required listings and temperature rating of 300 degrees F. Projects that require an inspection window, a two-hole mounting pattern, or aluminium conductor compatibility should select a different connector style.

Long barrel with seamless seamless construction

The barrel is sized for 2/0 AWG maximum and minimum stranded copper wire, using die code 45 and a black colour code for proper tool selection. Its seamless seam style and straight tongue with a .83 inch width deliver a uniform crimp profile for high-current applications.

Questions about this item

Does the 2/0 AWG copper lug need any periodic re-crimping or replacement once installed?

The seamless copper barrel is designed for a permanent crimp; no re-crimping or scheduled replacement is required under normal conditions.

What electrical limit is reached first when the lug runs continuously at its 600 V AC rating?

The 300 °F maximum operating temperature will be the limiting factor before the voltage rating is exceeded.

How much heat does the lug generate during all-day operation at rated current?

Copper’s low resistance keeps temperature rise minimal; the lug stays well below its 300 °F limit when properly crimped to 2/0 AWG wire.
