ZORO SELECT 2RZF5 Caster Wheel

The ZORO SELECT 2RZF5 is a replacement caster wheel built for wheelbarrows and utility carts. It uses a polyurethane tread bonded to a plastic core and runs on a Delrin bearing with an included spanner bushing for a 1/2 inch axle. The wheel measures eight inches in diameter and two inches wide.

Suits heavy-duty carts and barrows

This wheel supports loads up to nine hundred pounds, placing it in the three hundred to nine hundred ninety-nine pound rating range. It is not suited for light-duty garden carts that need a smaller diameter or softer tread. Buyers needing non-marking floor protection or a different hub length should look elsewhere.

Nine hundred pound load rating

The nine hundred pound capacity is the single figure that determines fit. Verify the cart or barrow manufacturer specifies this rating and a two and three-eighths inch hub length before ordering. The firm ninety-eight Shore A tread resists flattening under maximum weight.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 900 lb caster or a model rated for a different load range?

Select a wheel whose rated capacity matches the heaviest load the cart will carry; this model supports up to 900 lb and falls in the 300 to 999 lb range.

What does the 900 lb load rating mean when the wheel is mounted on a wheelbarrow?

It indicates the maximum weight the wheel can safely support under normal use, so the combined weight of the wheelbarrow and its contents should not exceed 900 lb.

How does the 1/2 in axle size and Delrin bearing affect installation and rolling performance?

The wheel fits a 1/2 in axle and includes a spanner bushing; the Delrin bearing provides low-friction rotation without lubrication.
