Ball Valve for Air Oil Steam Water
This manual two-way ball valve is built with a carbon steel body and a 304 stainless steel ball. It suits plumbing and industrial lines that carry air oil steam or water. The full port design allows unrestricted flow through the valve.
Carbon Steel Body Full Port 3/8 FNPT
The two-piece straight body uses 3/8 inch FNPT threads for inline mounting. Carbon steel construction handles operating pressures up to 3000 psi and steam pressures up to 150 psi. A vacuum service rating of 29.9 in Hg supports suction line use.
Upgrade from Lower Pressure or Smaller Port Valves
This unit replaces valves that cannot handle 3000 psi operating pressure or that use reduced port designs restricting flow. The jump is worth it when a full port carbon steel valve with high pressure and vacuum ratings is required for air oil steam or water service.

Questions about this item
What does the 3,000 psi operating pressure cap mean for daily use?
The valve is rated for up to 3,000 psi with air, oil, steam or water, so it handles most industrial and hydraulic circuits without derating.
What pipe thread and body size must the mating fittings match?
It has a 3/8 in FNPT inlet and outlet on a straight two-piece carbon steel body, so both connections must be 3/8 in male NPT.
How is the valve installed in-line and what step is often missed?
Thread the male NPT fittings into each female port using sealant on the male threads only, then tighten with a wrench on the valve body flats — not the handle — to avoid cracking the body.
