4 in Polyolefin Swivel Plate Caster

This 4 inch swivel plate caster uses a polyolefin wheel and core that will not mark floors. It carries a 600 lb load rating and has no brake or swivel lock fitted. The single wheel design suits replacement or new-build cart applications.

Suits light industrial carts and dollies

Buyers who need a braking mechanism to hold position should look elsewhere. Those requiring a directional lock for straight-line tracking will not find it here. The non-marking tread works well on finished concrete or epoxy surfaces.

600 lb load rating per caster

This figure determines whether the caster can support the intended equipment weight. Exceeding the rating risks wheel deformation or mounting failure. Verify the combined load across all casters stays within this limit.

Questions about this item

Does the 600 lb caster generate noticeable heat or noise when a loaded cart runs all day?

The polyolefin wheel rolls without a motor, so it produces no heat and only the normal rolling sound of a hard tread on the floor.

What mounting hardware must I already have to attach the 4 in swivel plate caster?

You need a flat mounting surface with a bolt pattern that matches the plate and four bolts or screws of the correct diameter.

Will this 4 in polyolefin caster roll smoothly on an older cart that has mixed wheel sizes?

The caster fits any plate‑mount frame, but mixing a 4 in wheel with larger or smaller wheels changes the deck height and can make the cart wobble.
