600 lb Steel Cabinet Dolly
The Value Brand 48J121 is a steel dolly built to move cabinets and crates up to 600 lb. Its 32 by 18 inch open platform sits at a lowered height of 3 7/8 inches for easy loading. Two swivel casters and two axle-mounted solid rubber wheels provide steering and stability. The red powder-coated frame resists corrosion in workshop and warehouse settings.
Manual Tilt-and-Lift Operation
This dolly relies on the operator to tilt the load onto the platform and lift the handle for transport. The 3 inch wheels roll over smooth concrete but can catch on expansion joints, gravel or thresholds. No brakes or wheel locks are fitted, so the unit must be chocked or held on any incline. The open platform offers no side containment for loose items.
Replaces Hand Carrying and Light Dollies
It replaces carrying heavy boxes by hand or using dollies rated below 600 lb. The jump is worth it when loads exceed the capacity of standard platform trucks or when the low deck height reduces lift strain. It is not suited for loads above 600 lb, for frequent outdoor use on rough ground, or for users who need braked wheels or enclosed sides.

Questions about this item
Is the 32x18 inch platform the right size for standard cabinets?
The platform measures 32 inches wide by 18 inches deep, matching common cabinet footprints for stable transport.
How does the 600 lb capacity hold up when moving heavy crates across a workshop floor?
The 600 lb rating is supported by a steel frame with two swivel casters and two 3-inch solid rubber axle-mounted wheels for controlled movement under full load.
What does the 3 7/8 inch platform height mean for loading clearance?
The lowered deck sits 3 7/8 inches off the ground, allowing a shallow tilt angle to slide heavy items on without excessive lifting.
