Cabinet Dolly Set

The Value Brand 48J130 pack contains four cabinet dollies rated for a 500 lb load capacity each. Steel frames with a powder-coated finish provide structural strength for moving heavy furniture or equipment. Each platform measures 8 in by 8 in and sits at a 4 in height. The set is intended for workshops, warehouses or home garages that need multiple low-profile movers.

Build Integration

Eight swivel casters per dolly allow omnidirectional movement across flat floors without a fixed turning radius. The solid platform supports the load directly, so no additional decking or bracing is required. Because the casters are not described as non-marking, they may leave traces on delicate surfaces. The low 4 in profile slides under most cabinets and appliances without raising their centre of gravity.

Included Accessories

The package quantity of four dollies lets a single person position one unit at each corner of a large item for balanced transport. No straps, brakes or mounting hardware are supplied, so users must provide their own restraints if the load could shift. The black powder coating resists corrosion during storage but does not change the caster performance on any floor type.

Questions about this item

How does the 500 lb capacity hold up when the dolly is moved continuously over rough ground?

The 500 lb rating applies to each dolly in the four-pack. Steel frames and 2-inch swivel casters distribute the load, but sustained use on uneven surfaces can accelerate wheel wear and increase push force.

Do the casters generate noticeable noise or heat after hours of rolling on concrete?

The 2-inch swivel casters are not described as non-marking. On hard floors they produce typical rolling sound and minimal heat buildup during extended use.

What floor type or surface must already be in place for these dollies to roll properly?

The 2-inch swivel casters work on most hard, flat surfaces such as concrete, tile or hardwood. Very soft or deeply uneven ground will impede movement.
