Swivel Plate Caster 145 lb

A 5-inch swivel plate caster rated for 145 lb load capacity. It uses a polyurethane tread on a polyolefin core and carries no brake or swivel lock. The wheel is non-marking and designed for wheelbarrows, carts and similar yard equipment.

Fits wheelbarrows and carts

The plate mounting bolts directly to the frame of a wheelbarrow or utility cart. Its swivel action allows the wheel to rotate freely for steering, while the non-marking tread protects paved surfaces. No brake or lock is included so the caster remains free-swivelling at all times.

145 lb load capacity

The caster comfortably supports wheelbarrows and light-duty carts loaded up to its 145 lb rating. Heavier loads or frequent impact loading will exceed the design limit and require a higher-rated caster. California Proposition 65 warnings apply for cancer and reproductive harm.

Questions about this item

How much weight can this 5 in. polyurethane wheel support before it deforms under constant load?

The caster is rated for 145 lb, so sustained loads above that figure risk permanent wheel deformation.

Does the polyolefin core and polyurethane tread stay quiet and cool when the cart runs all day on concrete?

The non‑marking polyurethane tread on a polyolefin core runs quietly and generates minimal heat during continuous indoor use.

What mounting hardware do I need to attach the plate caster to my existing cart frame?

You will need four bolts or screws that match the plate’s hole pattern to secure the caster to the cart frame.
