Standard-Duty Canvas Tarp

This green cotton canvas tarp measures 3 ft 6 in by 7 ft 6 in finished size and carries a 20 mil thickness rating. It is built for general-purpose covering where heavy industrial strength is not required. The material is breathable and treated to resist mildew and UV exposure.

Capacity and Coverage Limits

The 10 oz per square yard fabric weight provides enough body for temporary shelter, equipment wraps or ground protection in moderate weather. Water resistance handles rain and dew, but the standard-duty rating means prolonged pooling or high wind stress will exceed its design. Double-stitched seams add tear resistance at the edges.

Brass Grommets and Daily Use

Brass grommets with a .5 inch inside diameter are spaced every 24 inches along the perimeter for secure tie-downs. The corrosion-resistant metal suits outdoor exposure without staining the canvas. Breathable fabric reduces condensation build-up underneath, while the green colour keeps visibility low for discreet site coverage.

Questions about this item

Will the brass grommets on this 3 ft 6 in tarp match the spacing on my existing 24 in frame?

Yes, the grommets are spaced 24 in apart so they will line up with a frame that uses the same spacing.

How can I confirm the tarp is performing as intended after I install it?

Check that water beads on the surface rather than soaking through and that no mildew appears after extended outdoor exposure.

Does the package include tie-downs or ropes, or must I buy them separately?

Only the tarp with brass grommets is included; ropes, bungees or other tie-downs are not supplied and must be purchased separately.
