6 in. 1750 lb Rigid Plate Caster

This rigid plate caster uses a 6 in. cast-iron wheel with a 2 in. tread width. The iron wheel is non-marking and rated for 1750 lb of load capacity. It mounts via a standard top plate and includes no swivel lock or brake mechanism. The unit is sold as a single caster for heavy-duty cart or wheelbarrow applications.

Suits heavy carts needing straight tracking

Buyers moving heavy equipment in a straight line will benefit from the rigid design and high load rating. The lack of a swivel lock means this caster cannot be locked into a fixed direction when swivel action is present elsewhere. The absence of a brake makes it unsuitable for ramps or any surface where unintended rolling must be prevented. Applications requiring floor protection from softer tread materials should look elsewhere.

Check plate bolt pattern and wheel clearance

Verify that the mounting plate bolt-hole spacing matches your existing frame or cart before ordering. Confirm the 6 in. wheel diameter and 2 in. tread width fit within the available wheel well and fork clearance. Ensure the 1750 lb rating meets or exceeds the per-caster load share for your intended use.
