Silver Steel Dolly 880 lb Capacity

This silver steel dolly provides a flat, lipped deck for moving loads up to 880 lb. The open deck measures 24 1/2 in by 16 1/2 in and sits 6 in high on a steel frame. A smooth surface and flush ends allow items to slide on and off without obstruction. No built-in securing mechanism is included.

Movers Needing Simple Open Platform

The dolly suits anyone who wants a low-profile steel platform for boxes, crates or equipment that can be lifted on manually. It is not suited for users who need integral straps, clamps or rails to lock the load in place. Buyers requiring a contained bin or high sides for loose material should consider a different style.

880 lb Load Rating Decides Suitability

The 880 lb capacity is the single figure that determines whether this dolly matches the job. Check the heaviest item you plan to move against that rating before purchasing. Exceeding the limit risks damage to the frame and unsafe handling.

Questions about this item

What deck dimensions must my load fit within to sit on the 24 in by 16 in steel platform?

The open steel deck measures 24 1/2 inches long by 16 1/2 inches wide, so the load footprint should stay inside those edges.

Will the 880 lb capacity handle the same weight I used on my older wooden dolly?

The steel frame and lipped deck are rated for 880 lb, which is a fixed structural limit regardless of what the previous dolly could carry.

How can I confirm the dolly rolls level after I assemble the wheels?

Place a calibrated weight up to 880 lb on the deck and verify the deck height stays at 6 in with no binding or tilt while rolling.
