A 7" capacitive touchscreen portable monitor with 1024×600 resolution and a toughened glass panel
This 7-inch portable monitor adds a capacitive touchscreen to Raspberry Pi 4B, 3B+, 3B, 2B, Zero and Jetson Nano boards. It connects over HDMI and draws power from the host, requiring no separate driver installation on supported Linux and Windows 10, 8.1, 8 and 7 systems. The toughened glass panel rates 6H hardness and offers single-touch on Raspberry Pi or five-point touch on Windows. A built-in PC case provides two tilt angles at 30° and 50° for desk use.
The IPS display delivers a hardware resolution of 1024×600, which the firmware can scale up to 1920×1080 for applications that demand a larger canvas. Text and UI elements remain legible at the native resolution, while the scaled mode fits more windows at the cost of sharpness. A 3.5 mm audio jack passes HDMI audio through to headphones or speakers, and VGA input is available with a separate cable. On-screen display buttons adjust backlight, brightness, volume and power settings.
Builders who currently run a plain HDMI monitor plus a USB touch panel can consolidate to this single unit, saving desk space and one cable. The jump is worth it when you need a self-contained touchscreen for kiosk, dashboard or handheld projects and can work within the 7-inch 1024×600 native area. Buyers who need a larger visible area, higher pixel density or a battery-powered display should look elsewhere.
