Caster Wheel for Yard Carts

This ZORO SELECT caster wheel is built for wheelbarrows and yard carts that need a durable rolling component. It supports loads up to 900 lb and fits within the 300 to 999 lb load rating range for heavy-duty outdoor use.

Fits 1/2 in Axle with Included Spanner

The wheel requires a 1/2 in axle and includes a spanner bushing to adapt the fit. Its 2 3/8 in hub length determines the space needed on the axle, while the Delrin bearing allows the wheel to turn freely without additional lubrication.

6 in Polyurethane Tread Handles Firm Loads

The 6 in diameter and 2 in width polyurethane tread has a firm 98 Shore A durometer for solid resistance to deformation. The white plastic core keeps weight down, though the tread is not non-marking and the product carries a California Proposition 65 warning for listed chemicals.

Questions about this item

How long will the polyurethane tread hold up under the full 900 lb load?

The wheel is rated for 900 lb and uses a firm 98 Shore A polyurethane tread on a plastic core, designed for wheelbarrow and cart use within the 300–999 lb range.

Does the wheel run hot or make noise when a loaded cart is moved all day?

The solid polyurethane tread on a Delrin bearing with a spanner bushing has no motor or fan, so it produces no electrical noise and negligible heat under manual loads.

What axle size and hardware do I need to mount this wheel?

The wheel fits a 1/2 in axle and includes a spanner bushing; the hub length is 2 3/8 in, so you must supply the axle, washers and retaining hardware.
