Single cylinder wall bracket

This steel bracket mounts to a wall and holds one gas cylinder with a chain securing mechanism. It accepts cylinder diameters from three inches up to nine and a quarter inches. The bracket measures eleven inches wide, five and a quarter inches deep and two inches high. It is intended for oxygen cylinders in yard or workshop settings.

Chain retention and diameter range

The chain secures the cylinder but does not lock, so the unit relies on the chain tension to prevent movement. Only cylinders within the stated three to nine and a quarter inch diameter range will fit properly; smaller or larger cylinders cannot be held safely. Wall mounting hardware is not included, so the installer must supply suitable fixings for the mounting surface.

One cylinder capacity and limits

The bracket comfortably handles a single standard oxygen cylinder within the diameter limits and keeps it upright against a wall. It runs out of capacity when a second cylinder is needed or when the cylinder diameter exceeds nine and a quarter inches. Buyers who need multiple cylinder storage or a locking mechanism will need a different solution.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 9 1/4 in. diameter bracket for my cylinder?

The bracket adjusts from 3 in. up to 9 1/4 in., so it will secure a single cylinder anywhere in that range.

How does the 11 in. overall width affect wall mounting?

The 11 in. width determines the horizontal space needed on the wall; ensure studs or anchors can accommodate that span.

What does the chain securing mechanism actually restrain?

A chain wraps around the cylinder and locks to the steel bracket, preventing the tank from tipping or rolling away.
