Bright safety marking tape for outdoor sites

This fluorescent blue polyethylene flagging tape comes in a 150 ft roll that is 1 3/16 in wide and 4 mil thick. It meets the OSHA 1910.144 (a) colour standard for marking hazards and boundaries. Crews use it to flag utility lines, survey points and temporary traffic routes. The bright colour stays visible in low light and bad weather.

Lightweight polyethylene resists moisture

The thin poly construction handles wind and rain without adding bulk to a tool belt or pack. It unwinds cleanly and ties off on stakes, branches or fencing with minimal effort. No adhesive or dispenser is required so set-up is fast in the field. The 150 ft length covers long perimeter runs with a single roll.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the 1 3/16 in wide polyethylene tape to stakes without it tearing at the knot?

Wrap the 4 mil tape twice around the stake before tying; the double wrap spreads tension so the thin film does not split at the first knot.

When should I replace a 150 ft roll that has faded from sun exposure?

Replace it once the fluorescent blue no longer meets OSHA 1910.144 (a) visibility requirements, typically after several weeks of direct sunlight.
