Red Metalized Film Tape Specifications

This red metalized film tape uses a polyester backing with a single-sided acrylic adhesive. The roll measures two inches wide and seventy-two yards long with a thickness of two mil. It operates across a temperature range from minus sixty to three hundred degrees Fahrenheit.

Upgrade From Standard Packing Tapes

The tape delivers twenty-four pound-inches tensile strength and forty-five ounces per inch adhesive strength for demanding sealing tasks. The jump is worth it when packages face extreme heat or cold that would cause ordinary polypropylene tapes to fail.

Build Integration For Shipping Stations

The continuous roll format fits standard two-inch tape dispensers used in mailrooms and fulfillment lines. Its wide temperature tolerance frees operators from swapping tape types between cold-storage and hot-environment shipments.

Questions about this item

Will the 2 in width cover the seam on my standard carton?

The tape is 2 in wide and supplied on a continuous 72 yd roll, so it spans typical box seams in a single pass.

How do I apply the acrylic adhesive without trapping air bubbles?

Press the polyester backing firmly from the centre outward; the single-sided acrylic adhesive bonds instantly, so repositioning after contact weakens the hold.

When should I replace a roll that has been stored near a heat source?

The tape is rated from -60 °F to 300 °F; if storage exceeded 300 °F the acrylic adhesive may have degraded and the roll should be discarded.
