18 x 8 Inch Open Poly Bags

These clear poly bags measure 18 inches by 8 inches and are made from 0.75 mil linear low-density polyethylene. They come in a case pack of 1000 and feature a standard gusseted bottom with an open top. The bags are FDA compliant for food contact and carry a California Proposition 65 warning.

Suited for High-Volume Shipping Operations

Warehouses and fulfilment centres that need lightweight, transparent packaging for bulk orders will find this quantity efficient. Businesses requiring resealable closures, hang holes for retail display, or heavier gauge material for sharp items should look at alternative bag styles.

0.75 Mil Thickness Determines Durability

The 0.75 mil gauge provides basic puncture resistance for soft, non-abrasive goods such as clothing or paper products. Heavier or sharp-edged contents risk tearing the film, so users must match the thickness to the specific load.

Questions about this item

How much space does an 18-inch long bag give when I am packing items?

The bag is 18 inches long and 8 inches wide, providing a flat opening of that size; the gusseted bottom expands when filled so bulky items sit upright without stressing the side seams.

What does the 0.75 mil thickness mean for tear resistance and weight capacity?

At 0.75 mil the linear low-density polyethylene film is light-duty; it resists punctures from smooth objects but will tear if snagged on sharp edges, so it suits clothing, literature or boxed parts rather than heavy hardware.

Do the bags have any holes or features for hanging on a rack?

The specification states hang hole not included, so the open top is the only opening; you would need to add your own holes or use a clip dispenser if you want to hang them.
