Plate Caster Kit for Heavy Loads

This kit contains four rigid plate casters with an 8-inch rubber wheel on an iron core. Each caster supports a 2400 lb load rating for moving heavy carts or wheelbarrows. The wheels are non-marking and have a standard tread shape.

Simple Bolt-On Installation

The casters mount directly to a flat surface using the plate pattern, requiring only basic tools and hardware. No swivel lock or brake mechanism is included, so the units remain fixed in orientation. Ensure the mounting structure can handle the combined weight capacity.

2400 lb Load Rating per Caster

This single figure determines whether the kit suits your equipment. Multiply by four for the total supported weight, but verify your frame and axle design match the rigid plate format. The rubber-on-iron construction handles rough surfaces without marking floors.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the casters are rolling smoothly under the 2400 lb load rating after installation?

Mount the four plate casters securely, apply the intended weight, and confirm each 8 in rubber wheel on its iron core rotates freely without binding or excessive noise.

What components are included in the pack of four and what additional hardware is required?

The kit supplies four rigid or swivel plate casters with 8 in rubber tread on iron cores; mounting bolts or lag screws for the plates are not included and must be purchased separately.

Which version should I choose if I need non-marking wheels or a built-in brake for the 2400 lb capacity?

This specific kit uses standard rubber tread that is not non-marking and comes without any brake or swivel lock; select a different model if those features are required.
