This kit supplies four rigid and swivel plate casters built with polyurethane tread on iron cores. Each wheel measures 6 inches in diameter and 2 inches wide for heavy-duty mobility. The non-marking design protects floor surfaces during use.

For Cart Builders Not For Braked Units

Builders assembling or repairing wheelbarrows, carts or industrial dollies will find the 4800 lb load rating per caster suitable for demanding loads. Buyers who require integrated wheel brakes or swivel locks should look at alternative hardware that includes those safety features.

4800 lb Load Rating Per Caster

The polyurethane-on-iron construction delivers a 4800 lb capacity for each of the four casters in the pack. This single figure determines whether the kit can support the intended equipment weight safely. Verify the total load requirement before installation.

Questions about this item

What plate hole pattern fits the 6 in polyurethane casters?

Each caster uses a rigid or swivel top plate with a standard four-bolt mounting pattern that matches common cart and wheelbarrow frames.

How do I install the swivel casters so they track straight?

Bolt all four plates securely, then align the swivel casters parallel to the direction of travel before tightening the final bolts to prevent wandering.

When should I replace the polyurethane wheels on this 4800 lb kit?

Replace wheels when the tread shows flat spots, cracking, or the iron core becomes visible through the polyurethane surface.
