Rigid Plate Caster 125 lb Capacity

Suits Straight-Line Rolling Only

Builders needing a fixed-direction wheel for light carts or wheelbarrows will find this caster matches the load rating and wheel size. Buyers who need swivel steering, a brake mechanism or a higher load capacity should look at a different caster type.

Load Rating 125 lb Decides Fit

The 125 lb load rating is the single specification that determines whether this caster can handle the intended cart or wheelbarrow weight. Verify the total load per wheel before purchasing to avoid overloading the cast iron wheel.

Questions about this item

How does the 125 lb load rating translate when the caster is mounted on a cart or wheelbarrow?

The 125 lb rating is the maximum capacity for a single caster; total cart capacity depends on the number of casters used and how evenly the load is distributed across them.

What does the rigid plate design mean for mounting and movement?

A rigid plate caster does not swivel, so it provides straight-line tracking only; it must be bolted through the standard top plate holes to a flat, rigid frame.

What are the physical mounting dimensions and wheel profile for this caster?

It uses a standard top plate with bolt holes for attachment, a 2 in diameter cast iron wheel, and a 1 in tread width for a narrow footprint.
