Rigid Polyurethane Wheel for Light-Duty Carts

This rigid plate caster carries a 125 lb load rating on a 3 in polyurethane wheel. The non-marking tread protects finished floors while the plastic core keeps weight low. It is built for straight-line travel on hand trucks, utility carts or light industrial dollies.

Steady Rolling Under Continuous Weight

The polyurethane tread resists flat-spotting when the cart sits loaded between jobs. A rigid yoke eliminates swivel wander so the track stays true on long aisles or ramps. No brake is fitted, so the wheel rolls freely until an external stop is applied.

Replaces Worn Fixed Casters on Four-Wheel Platforms

Swap this unit when an existing rigid caster cracks, develops a flat spot or seizes on its axle. The jump is worth it when the old wheel marks epoxy floors or the bearing noise slows repetitive moves. Buyers who need steering correction or a total-lock brake should select a swivel or braked model instead.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the 3 in polyurethane wheel generate during all-day use?

The rigid plate caster has no motor or moving electronics, so it produces no heat or noise of its own; only the load rolling over the floor creates sound.

What mounting hardware must I already have to install the standard plate on my cart?

You need four bolts or screws that match the plate’s hole pattern plus a wrench or socket set to secure the caster to the frame.

Will the 125 lb load rating work safely alongside the older wheels already on my wheelbarrow?

Yes, as long as the combined capacity of all wheels meets or exceeds the total weight you plan to carry, mixing this caster with existing wheels is acceptable.
