Rigid Plate Caster for Yard Carts

This rigid plate caster is built for wheelbarrows and utility carts that need straight-line tracking without swivel movement. The thermoplastic rubber wheel on a polyolefin core provides a non-marking surface suitable for garage floors and paved paths.

Check Mounting Pattern and Load Before Ordering

Verify that your cart or wheelbarrow frame uses a rigid plate bolt pattern compatible with this caster. The single wheel carries a 450 lb load rating, so confirm the combined weight of the loaded equipment stays within that limit.

Non-Marking Rubber Wheel with No Brake

The 6 in diameter wheel uses a standard tread shape that rolls smoothly over cracks and debris while protecting finished floors. No brake or swivel lock is included, so the caster relies on the equipment frame for stability during loading and unloading.

Questions about this item

Does the caster come with mounting hardware or do I need to buy bolts separately?

The supplier data lists only the caster itself — wheel, core, plate and rigid fork — with no mention of bolts, nuts or washers, so plan to source mounting hardware that fits your cart or equipment.

Should I choose this 6-inch, 450 lb rigid caster or look for a swivel version?

This model is a rigid plate caster with no swivel lock and no brake; if your cart needs steering, pair it with swivel casters, otherwise the rigid version tracks straight under a 450 lb per-wheel load.

What does the 450 lb load rating mean when the caster is on a loaded cart?

The 450 lb rating is the maximum vertical load this single caster is designed to carry; total cart capacity depends on how many casters you install and how evenly the weight is distributed.
