Standard Duty Tarp 11 ft 4 in x 15 ft 6 in

This polyethylene tarp measures 11 ft 4 in by 15 ft 6 in finished size with a 5.1 mil thickness. It is rated for standard duty use and comes in black and brown. The material is waterproof, mildew resistant, tear resistant, and UV resistant. Heat sealed seams and rope reinforced edges add durability for general coverage tasks.

Outdoor users needing waterproof ground cover

The tarp suits campers, contractors, and homeowners who want a lightweight, waterproof sheet for temporary shelter, wood piles, or vehicle covers. Aluminum grommets spaced 36 in apart allow secure tie down points. Buyers who need heavy duty abrasion resistance or flame retardant ratings should look at something else. This model is not breathable and not high visibility.

Heat sealed seams rope reinforced edges aluminum

Heat sealed seams prevent water ingress at join lines while rope reinforced edges resist tearing when pulled tight. Aluminum grommets every 36 in provide consistent anchor points for ropes or bungees. The 3.4 oz/sq yd fabric weight keeps the tarp light enough to handle alone. These features combine to deliver a ready to use cover without extra reinforcement kits.

Questions about this item

What rope or bungee length do I need to reach the grommets spaced 36 in apart?

Plan for ties that span at least 36 in between grommets; standard 4 ft bungee cords or 3 ft rope loops work well with the aluminium grommets on this tarp.

Will the 5.1 mil polyethylene hold up against the UV exposure my older canvas cover handled?

The polyethylene material is UV resistant, mildew resistant and tear resistant, so it withstands sun exposure better than untreated canvas while remaining waterproof.

How do I confirm the finished dimensions are 11 ft 4 in by 15 ft 6 in after unpacking?

Measure the hemmed edges — width should read 11 ft 4 in and length 15 ft 6 in; the heat-sealed seams and aluminium grommets at 36 in spacing confirm the standard-duty specification.
