Value Brand Standard Duty Tarp 15 ft 6 in x 23 ft 6 in 20 Mil Green

Standard Duty Canvas Tarp

This standard duty tarp uses cotton canvas fabric that weighs 10 oz per square yard and measures 20 mil thick. The material is breathable, mildew resistant and UV resistant while providing water resistant coverage. Brass grommets with a .5 inch inner diameter are spaced 24 inches apart along the edges for secure tie down points. Double stitched seams reinforce the perimeter against tearing under load.

Finished Dimensions And Grommet Layout

The finished size is 15 ft 6 in by 23 ft 6 in, cut from a 16 by 24 foot sheet to allow for hem allowance. Grommets run the full perimeter at two foot intervals, giving multiple attachment options for ropes, bungees or straps. Brass hardware resists corrosion better than steel when the tarp is left outdoors for extended periods. The green colour blends into landscaping and construction sites without drawing attention.

Standard Duty Limits And Compliance

Standard duty construction suits temporary shelter, equipment covers and ground protection rather than long term structural use. Water resistance handles rain and runoff but is not rated for standing water or pressurised loads. Breathable canvas reduces condensation under the tarp but allows vapour transmission in humid conditions. California Proposition 65 warnings apply because the product contains chemicals linked to cancer and reproductive harm.
