Standard Duty Tarp 7 ft 6 in x 19 ft 6 in

This cotton canvas tarp measures 7 ft 6 in by 19 ft 6 in finished size with a 20 mil thickness. It is built for general outdoor covering where moderate durability and breathability are required. Brass grommets spaced every 24 in allow secure tie-down points. The brown colour suits agricultural, construction or storage use.

Check grommet spacing and water resistance

Verify that 24 in grommet spacing matches the anchor points on your frame or vehicle. The fabric is water resistant, not fully waterproof, so pooling water may seep through over time. Confirm the 10 oz/sq yd weight is adequate for expected wind loads. Note the Proposition 65 warning for chemical content before use in enclosed spaces.

Upgrades from lightweight poly tarps

This replaces thin plastic sheeting that tears quickly and degrades under UV exposure. The double stitched seams and mildew resistant treatment extend service life in damp conditions. Breathable canvas reduces condensation buildup compared to impermeable covers. The jump is worth it when repeated seasonal use demands stronger tear resistance and longer UV life.

Questions about this item

Does the tarp come with tie-down ropes or bungee cords, or do I need to buy them separately?

The tarp includes brass grommets spaced 24 in apart with a .5 in inside diameter for attaching your own ropes or cords; no tie-downs are supplied in the box.

How do I decide between the cut size and the finished size when ordering?

The cut size is 8 x 20 ft before hemming; the finished size is 7 ft 6 in x 19 ft 6 in after double-stitched seams, so plan coverage using the finished dimensions.

Will the 20 mil thickness and 10 oz/sq yd fabric weight hold up to regular outdoor exposure?

The 20 mil thick, 10 oz/sq yd cotton canvas is mildew resistant, UV resistant, water resistant and breathable, making it suitable for standard-duty outdoor use.
