Static Shielding Bag Zip Seal 16 in

These gray static shielding bags measure 16 inches long by 12 inches wide with a thickness of 0.003 inches. They provide Faraday cage protection for sensitive electronic components during storage and shipping. The pack contains 500 reclosable bags featuring a zip seal closure. Material is low density polyethylene.

Suits ESD-sensitive component handling

Buyers who need FDA-compliant packaging should look elsewhere because these bags are not FDA compliant. The zip seal offers a puncture strength of 2.6 lbf and seal strength of 28.7 N for reliable closure. California Proposition 65 warnings apply for cancer and reproductive harm risks.

Flat pack simplifies storage and access

Each bag opens and reseals easily with the integrated zip seal for repeated use. The flat pack configuration keeps the 500 bags organized and ready for dispensing. Ensure the bag dimensions match your component size before sealing to avoid fit issues.

Questions about this item

What size components fit inside the 16 in by 12 in bag?

The bag measures 16 in length by 12 in width, so any item smaller than those internal dimensions will fit.

Does the 0.003 in thick material provide Faraday cage protection for older static-sensitive parts?

Yes, the low-density polyethylene construction meets Faraday cage protection standards for static shielding.

How can I verify the zip seal is holding properly after closing the bag?

The seal strength is rated at 28.7 N; a firm tug that does not open the zip indicates it is working as intended.
