8-inch swivel plate caster

This Zoro Select swivel plate caster features an 8-inch iron wheel with a 1200 lb load rating. The iron core and tread provide durability for heavy-duty applications. A non-marking design helps protect floor surfaces during use. The caster includes no brake or swivel lock mechanism.

Suited for heavy equipment mobility

This caster suits users moving heavy carts, wheelbarrows or industrial equipment where a single swivel wheel is needed. The high load capacity supports substantial weight without deformation. Buyers needing a braking function or directional lock should look at other models. Those requiring multiple wheels per assembly will need additional units.

Check mounting and clearance before ordering

Verify that the plate mounting pattern matches your existing equipment bolt holes. Ensure the 8-inch wheel diameter fits within the available vertical space. Confirm the 2-inch wheel width is compatible with the axle or fork width on your cart. California Proposition 65 warnings apply due to chemical content.

Questions about this item

What mounting plate does this caster need to bolt onto?

It uses a standard plate mount; match the hole pattern to your cart or wheelbarrow frame before installing.

Will the iron wheel damage an existing concrete floor?

The wheel is non‑marking iron, so it should not leave scuff marks on concrete or epoxy surfaces.

How can I confirm the caster rolls freely after fitting it?

Push the loaded cart; the wheel should turn smoothly with no brake drag or binding.
