800 lb Phenolic Swivel Caster

This 4 inch phenolic wheel swivel plate caster supports loads up to 800 lb and rolls on a non‑marking tread. The single wheel design suits carts, workbenches and light industrial equipment that need smooth, quiet movement on hard floors. It ships new and contains no integrated brake or swivel lock.

Upgrade from lower capacity fixed casters

Replacing fixed or lower rated wheels with this 800 lb swivel unit adds steering freedom and higher load allowance without changing the mounting plate pattern. The jump is worth it when a cart must turn in tight aisles or carry heavier tool chests while protecting epoxy or tile surfaces.

Fits standard four bolt plate mounting

The caster mounts to any flat frame or cart base drilled for a standard plate pattern and requires no additional hardware beyond the four bolts. Its phenolic core and tread resist oils, solvents and temperature swings, freeing the builder from specifying separate floor protection or frequent wheel replacement.

Questions about this item

What size mounting plate and bolt pattern does this 800 lb phenolic caster require?

The swivel plate caster mounts with a standard top plate; verify your equipment's hole spacing matches before drilling.

How do I install the swivel caster so it tracks straight under an 800 lb load?

Bolt the plate firmly to a flat, rigid frame; tighten all fasteners evenly so the swivel race cannot bind or wander.

When should I replace the phenolic wheel on this non-marking caster?

Replace the wheel when the phenolic tread shows cracks, flat spots, or wears thin enough to risk floor damage.
