Tarp for Outdoor Coverage

The 15 by 20 foot cotton canvas tarp provides standard duty protection for equipment, vehicles or work areas. Nickel plated brass grommets spaced every 24 inches allow secure tie down points. The green colour blends into outdoor environments while the finished dimensions of 14 feet 6 inches by 19 feet 6 inches account for hem allowance.

Flame and Mildew Resistant Fabric

Double stitched seams reinforce the edges against tearing during normal use. The material carries flame resistant and mildew resistant properties for added durability in damp or hot conditions. Water resistant coating repels light rain and moisture without sealing the fabric completely. Breathable construction prevents trapped condensation underneath.

20 Mil Thickness Defines Duty Rating

At 20 mil thick with a 10 ounce per square yard fabric weight this tarp suits temporary shelter, ground cover or load covering tasks. Standard duty rating means it is not intended for prolonged heavy weather exposure or industrial abrasion. Buyers needing heavier reinforcement or fully waterproof performance should select a different specification.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 15 x 20 ft canvas tarp using the grommets, and what spacing mistake should I avoid?

Thread tie-downs through the .5 in nickel-plated brass grommets spaced every 24 in; the common error is skipping grommets, which creates stress points that tear the double-stitched seams.

What maintenance will the 10 oz cotton canvas tarp need over time?

The flame- and mildew-resistant finish reduces upkeep; periodically rinse dirt off the water-resistant surface and inspect seams and grommets for wear after heavy weather.

What is the first limit I will hit when using this standard-duty tarp in sustained wind or rain?

The finished size of 14 ft 6 in by 19 ft 6 in means coverage shrinks from the cut dimensions, and the standard-duty rating indicates tear resistance is the limiting factor under prolonged load.
