V-Groove Rigid Caster 4 in 350 lb

This rigid plate caster uses a V-groove polyurethane wheel to track straight on inverted angle iron or similar guide rails. The non-marking tread protects finished floors while supporting a 350 lb load rating per wheel. It suits material-handling carts, jigs or fixtures that need guided linear travel without swivel movement.

Installation notes and common issues

Mount the top plate with four bolts through the pre-drilled holes using hardware matched to the mounting surface. Ensure the guide rail is straight, parallel and free of debris so the V-groove seats cleanly. Misaligned rails or loose bolts cause binding, premature tread wear or the wheel jumping the track under load.

Practical limits of V-groove guidance

The single wheel carries up to 350 lb; total capacity depends on the number of casters and frame rigidity. Polyurethane treads resist abrasion but can chunk if run over sharp edges or large debris. The rigid design offers no swivel or brake function, so steering and stopping must be handled by the cart structure or operator. California Proposition 65 warnings apply.
