Two brass 1/4 inch NPT pressure relief valves 150 PSI

Valve 1/4'' NPT 150 PSI Brass 2 pcs

SKU CH-A8BV-1ZQY9

Two brass pressure relief valves with 1/4 inch NPT threads, preset to 150 PSI and 58 SCFM flow for air compressor safety

  • Protects equipment from overpressure with automatic 150 psi relief
  • Brass construction resists corrosion and oxidation for long service life
  • Two valves included so you have a spare ready to install
  • Operates reliably from 32 to 176 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Thread sealant applied for a leak-free NPT connection

Brass Pressure Relief Valve Pair

This pack contains two 1/4 inch NPT male valves preset to 150 psi. They suit compressed-air systems that need automatic over-pressure protection. Builders who need a different relief setting or a larger port size cannot use this kit.

150 PSI Relief Limit

The valves open when system pressure exceeds 150 psi and close again once pressure drops to the specified value. Flow capacity is rated at 58 scfm. The operating temperature range spans 32 to 176 degrees Fahrenheit. Installers who require a higher or lower cracking pressure must select another model.

Brass Construction With Thread Sealant

Each valve body is brass for oxidation and corrosion resistance. Threads come coated with a sealing compound so no extra tape or paste is required. The 1/4 inch NPT male connection fits standard compressor ports directly. Systems using metric threads or flange mounts will need adapters.

Questions about this item

Which pressure rating should I select for my 150 PSI compressor?

Choose the 150 PSI version so the relief pressure matches your system's maximum working pressure and the valve opens at the correct threshold.

What does the 58 scfm flow rating mean when the valve opens on my compressor?

It means the valve can vent up to 58 standard cubic feet per minute of air, relieving overpressure quickly enough for typical shop compressors.

How does the 1/4 inch NPT thread limit the fittings I can use?

The male 1/4 inch NPT thread requires a female NPT port or adapter of the same size; it will not seal on metric, BSP or larger NPT threads.
