Vanco VAD2X BNC Male to RCA Female Adapter Pack of 5

Vanco BNC-to-RCA adapter pack

The Vanco VAD2X pack contains five BNC male to RCA female adapters. Each unit converts a BNC video input into a standard RCA jack so you can run ordinary RCA cables into CCTV equipment. Installers working with security cameras, DVR cards, quad processors or multiplexers use these to bridge the two connector types without rewiring.

Push-on installation and common issues

The BNC side pushes onto the device port while the RCA cable plugs into the jack; no tools or soldering are required. Problems usually arise when the centre pin is bent or the BNC shell is not fully seated, which causes intermittent video or a rolling picture. A loose RCA fit can also introduce noise, so verify both connections are firm before closing the enclosure.

Signal behaviour over long runs

The adapter is passive and adds no amplification, so signal quality depends on the cable length and shielding used in the installation. Over extended CCTV runs the video level may drop and high-frequency detail can soften, especially with thin or unshielded RCA leads. For permanent installs, check the picture at the far end after the system has warmed up to confirm stable performance.
