California Sun Pool Float

The California Sun pool float is a vinyl-dipped foam lounger built for adults who want a permanent, non-inflatable water mat. Its closed-cell foam core guarantees it will never sink or deflate, removing the hassle of pumps and punctures. The oversized 70 by 25 inch surface and built-in pillow support full-body relaxation on the water.

Who This Suits And Who It Does Not

Swimmers who prefer a soft, contoured surface that stays cool in the sun will appreciate the 1.25 inch thick foam and orange vinyl coating. Buyers who need a compact float for travel or tight storage spaces should look at something else, as the 7.4 lb rolled mat requires a cool, clean storage spot.

Deciding Specification

The unsinkable closed-cell foam construction is the single specification that decides suitability; it eliminates inflation maintenance entirely while supporting virtually any adult on a 70 inch by 25 inch platform.

Questions about this item

What pool dimensions do I need for this 70-inch-long by 25-inch-wide float?

The float measures 70 inches long and 25 inches wide, so your pool should provide at least that much clear surface area for comfortable use.

Can I use this 7.4 lb foam float alongside my existing inflatable loungers without it sinking?

Yes, the closed-cell foam is guaranteed never to sink and weighs only 7.4 lbs, so it will stay afloat beside any inflatables you keep.

How can I tell the 1.25-inch-thick vinyl-dipped foam is performing correctly after I unroll it?

It should lie flat on the water, support your weight without submerging, and feel soft yet firm; minor seam cracks are normal and do not affect buoyancy.
