Purpose and audience

This rechargeable LED sphere adds colour-changing light to pools, gardens and indoor spaces. It suits event hosts, homeowners and anyone wanting portable mood lighting without wiring.

Thermals noise and power

The IP65-rated plastic shell handles splashes and rain while the sealed battery runs cool and silent. A four-hour charge provides at least eight hours of cordless operation with no fan or audible hum.

Remote control and modes

The included infrared remote switches among sixteen static colours and four dynamic modes — flash, strobe, fade and smooth — letting users adjust brightness and effects from across the patio or poolside.

Questions about this item

How do I install the LEDIR-ORB-15 and what step do people often miss?

Charge the built-in battery for four hours before first use, then place the sphere in water or on a flat surface; the step users miss is the initial full charge, which is required for the eight-plus-hour runtime.

What maintenance or replacement will the LEDIR-ORB-15 need later?

The sealed rechargeable battery cannot be user-replaced; when it no longer holds a charge the entire sphere must be retired, while the IP65-rated plastic shell only needs occasional wiping with a damp cloth.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the LEDIR-ORB-15?

After roughly eight hours of continuous operation the battery depletes and the light stops, requiring a four-hour recharge before the 16 colours and four modes can run again.
