Pre-purchase checks

Verify that the IP65 waterproof rating meets the demands of your intended location, such as floating use in a swimming pool. Ensure you have access to a power source for the required four-hour recharge cycle before each use.

Thermals noise power

The sealed plastic housing contains no moving parts, so the unit runs silently during operation. LED technology generates minimal heat, keeping the surface cool to the touch throughout the eight-hour battery runtime.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the LEDIR-ORB-30 and do I need to buy a charger separately?

The set includes the 12-inch glow sphere and a remote control; the built-in rechargeable battery charges in 4 hours using the supplied cable, so no separate charger is required.

The product lists 16 static colours and 4 modes — which combination works best for a pool party?

Use the remote to cycle through the 16 RGB colours and pick flash or strobe mode for high-energy moments, or fade and smooth for a relaxed glow.

The IP65 rating is highlighted — what does that actually mean when the sphere is floating in the pool?

IP65 confirms the orb is waterproof enough to float continuously in water while the RGB LEDs run for 8 or more hours on a full charge.
