This hardware kit provides the essential fittings for attaching a square or rectangular shade sail to a structure. The package includes two turnbuckles, two snap hooks and four pad eyes fabricated from 316 stainless steel. All components share a 300 lb load capacity for consistent strength.

Build integration and flexibility

Each pad eye measures 80 mm by 50 mm by 35 mm and accepts 5/16 lag screws for secure anchoring to wood or masonry. The 200 mm by 35 mm turnbuckles allow precise tension adjustment after the sail is hung. Snap hooks sized 80 mm by 40 mm enable quick attachment and removal of the sail for seasonal storage. Additional S-hooks or extra turnbuckles can be sourced separately to expand the rigging layout.

Durability and handling

The 316 stainless steel construction resists rust and staining in coastal or humid environments. At 1.65 kg the kit is light enough for single-person handling during installation.
