Questions about this item

How do I install the 245/40R20 tire on a 20-inch rim?

Mount the tire on the 20-inch rim, torque lug nuts to the vehicle specification in a star pattern, then inflate to the placard pressure; the step most people skip is verifying bead seating before final torque.

When will the 460 treadwear tire need replacement?

The tire carries a 40,000-mile treadlife rating; replace when tread depth reaches the legal minimum or at six years regardless of wear.

At what speed does the W-rated tire hit its sustained-use limit?

The speed rating W certifies sustained operation up to 168 mph; exceeding this limit risks overheating and structural failure.
