225/50R17 98W XL All-Season Tire

The VANTAGE UHP fits 17-inch rims on passenger cars and delivers a 98 load index with a W speed rating good for 168 mph. Its all-season compound and asymmetric tread handle wet, dry and light snow conditions year-round. The 460 AA UTQG grades indicate strong traction and treadwear for daily driving.

XL Load Range with Black Sidewall

Extra-load construction reinforces the casing for heavier sedans without a run-flat design, so a spare or repair kit remains necessary. The black sidewall gives a clean, factory look that matches most OEM wheels. Circumferential grooves evacuate water to resist hydroplaning during heavy rain.

50,000-Mile Treadlife Warranty

This tire replaces worn original-equipment all-season rubber when the driver wants longer wear and quieter comfort. The jump is worth it if the current set is near the wear bars and the vehicle sees mixed highway and city miles. Buyers needing dedicated winter grip or track-day compound should look elsewhere.
