Compact 87-Key Layout

The Varmilo VD87M Panda is a compact mechanical keyboard with 87 keys, original Cherry MX Brown switches and sweatproof PBT keycaps. It connects through a detachable USB-C cable or via Bluetooth dual-mode for wireless use. A panda-themed black and white colour scheme distinguishes its appearance. The tenkeyless form factor saves desk space while keeping the essential function row.

Suited For Desk Minimalists And Switch Tactility

Users who prefer a smaller footprint and tactile feedback without an audible click will match well with this board. The detachable cable and Bluetooth option support both stationary and portable setups. Buyers who require a dedicated numeric keypad or per-key RGB illumination should consider other models. The fixed Cherry MX Brown switch type also limits appeal for those wanting linear or clicky alternatives.

Cherry MX Brown Tactile Switches

The keyboard uses genuine Cherry MX Brown switches, which provide a noticeable tactile bump at the actuation point without a click sound. This characteristic defines the typing feel and determines whether the board fits a user's preference for feedback and noise level. No other switch option is offered on this version.

Questions about this item

How often will the Cherry MX Brown switches need replacement under heavy daily use?

Cherry MX Brown switches are rated for tens of millions of keystrokes, so replacement is unlikely for years of typical gaming or office work.

What limits continuous wireless use before the keyboard must be recharged or plugged in?

The 5.0 Bluetooth connection draws power continuously; sustained wireless sessions will eventually require switching to the Type-C wired mode for charging.

Does the keyboard run hot or loud when left on all day in Bluetooth mode?

The compact 87-key design with PBT keycaps stays cool and silent; only the switch actuation sound is audible during extended use.
