Design and Compatibility

The Grant mini pendant lantern from Vaxcel measures 7 in W x 10.25 in H x 7 in D and features an open black framework with clear glass panels. Its transitional style suits modern farmhouse, industrial, vintage and rustic décor. The fixture is dry rated for indoor use in kitchens, bars, dining rooms or over pool tables. A UL listing confirms it meets product safety standards.

Installation Flexibility

The pendant includes a 5.5-in diameter ceiling canopy and 72 inches of chain for adjustable height between 10.25 and 83.25 inches. It accepts one E26 medium base bulb up to 40 watts, compatible with LED, vintage Edison filament or halogen types. Dimming is supported when paired with a dimmable bulb and compatible wall switch dimmer, neither of which are included.

Sustained Operation

The open lantern design allows heat to dissipate freely around the single bulb during extended use. The fixture's dry rating and UL certification indicate it is built for continuous operation in appropriate indoor environments. Long-term performance depends on the chosen bulb technology and the presence of a suitable dimmer circuit if dimming is used.

Questions about this item

How long can the chain be extended before the pendant reaches its maximum height?

The included 72-inch chain lets the fixture hang from 10.25 inches up to 83.25 inches from the ceiling.

How much heat or noise does the fixture produce when lit continuously?

The lantern itself is passive; any heat or audible hum comes only from the 40-watt E26 bulb you install.

Which bulb and dimmer must I already have to use the dimming feature?

You need a dimmable 40-watt E26 bulb — LED, vintage Edison filament, or halogen — plus a compatible wall-switch dimmer.
