Vaxcel Mission Dualux T0437 Outdoor Motion Sensor Wall Light 180 Degree 40 ft Range 60 Watt

Outdoor security lighting for homeowners

The Vaxcel Mission Dualux T0437 is an outdoor wall light designed for residential exteriors. It combines a 180-degree motion sensor with a built-in dusk-to-dawn photocell for automated operation. Homeowners seeking enhanced safety and ambient illumination for entryways or pathways will find this fixture suitable. The unit delivers on-demand bright light when movement is detected.

Wiring and bulb requirements for installation

This fixture requires a standard medium-base socket and operates with one 60 watt incandescent, halogen, or dimmable LED bulb, which is not included. It fits into existing outdoor electrical boxes and works with dimmable bulb models for adjustable output. The integrated timer allows selection of continuous bright illumination for zero, three, or six hours. No additional smart-home hub or separate controller is needed for basic function.

Energy use and thermal behaviour in daily operation

The photocell prevents daytime operation, reducing unnecessary power draw from the 60 watt maximum rating. Motion activation limits full-brightness runtime to actual activity periods, while the dimmed ambient mode consumes less energy overnight. The outdoor-rated housing dissipates heat from the installed bulb under normal weather conditions. Silent solid-state switching produces no mechanical noise during activation.
