Magnetic alignment eases connection but polarity

The magnetic tip snaps into place for plug-and-play charging without manual alignment. A small percentage of headphone units leave the factory with reversed magnetic polarity, which prevents the cable from attaching; in that case the cable cannot be used with that device. The cable has been tested for over 5000 bending cycles and the copper conductors do not generate heat during charging.

7.62 mm pin pitch is the critical compatibility
