6-24V DC automotive probe

The VEHLIVE P50 Pro is a corded circuit probe tester designed for 6-24V DC automotive electrical systems. It helps technicians and owners diagnose power, ground, polarity, continuity, open circuits, blown fuses and bad grounds across cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, ATVs, trailers, RVs and boats. Built-in overload protection and polarity indicators speed up fault finding before components are replaced.

Limited to 6-24V DC circuits

The tester operates only on low-voltage DC systems between 6 and 24 volts, so it cannot be used on mains voltage, high-voltage EV traction packs or AC wiring. Its 8A manual reset breaker trips during overload and must be reset by hand, which interrupts testing until the fault is cleared. The corded design also restricts reach to the length of the supplied lead and alligator clips.

Hook-up clips and reset switch

Connecting the alligator clips to a solid battery or chassis ground is straightforward, but corroded terminals or loose clips can give false readings. The manual reset breaker adds a deliberate step after an overload, which some users forget, leaving the tool apparently dead. The dual front LEDs aid visibility in dark bays, yet they do not replace a dedicated work lamp for close inspection.
