Veho Alpha Bravo GX2 Headset

The Veho Alpha Bravo GX2 is a gaming headset featuring UBU 7.1 virtual surround sound. It connects via USB and includes a built-in noise-cancelling microphone. Super-soft ear cups are designed for comfort during extended sessions. An audio equalizer driver provides full sound customisation on Windows devices.

For Windows gamers wanting virtual surround

This headset suits players who want 7.1 surround audio through a single USB connection on a Windows PC. The integrated noise-cancelling microphone supports clear in-game chat. Buyers needing multi-platform console support should look elsewhere. Anyone requiring hardware-driven surround processing or a detachable microphone will not find those features here.

UBU 7.1 virtual surround via USB

The defining specification is the UBU 7.1 virtual surround system delivered over USB with Windows driver support. This software-based implementation creates the immersive audio field. No other surround format or connection method is provided. Verify that your system runs Windows and has a free USB port before purchase.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the UBU 7.1 surround version or a stereo-only headset?

The Alpha Bravo GX2 includes the UBU 7.1 virtual surround system and an audio equalizer driver for full sound customisation, so you get surround processing and tuning in one model.

How does the UBU 7.1 surround sound perform when I am actually gaming?

The headset uses a virtual 7.1 surround engine driven by the equalizer software on Windows, creating directional audio cues that help you locate in-game sounds.

What connection does the headset use and what does that limit?

It connects via USB to Windows devices, so the 7.1 processing and equaliser only work on a PC; no console or mobile surround support is provided.
