Solar Air Assembly Set

The Velvac 022638 is a 15 ft coiled air assembly set built for cold-weather operation. Its nylon construction and brass ends meet FMVSS 106 standards for heavy-duty vehicle use. The blue tubing is rated for a temperature range of -85 degrees to 200 degrees F.

Sustained load behaviour

The coiled design maintains consistent airflow during extended compressor cycles without kinking. Nylon tubing resists fatigue from repeated pressure swings in pneumatic systems. Brass end fittings hold seal integrity across the full 1/2-14 NPTF thread specification.

Thermals noise and power

Operating temperature span of -85 degrees to 200 degrees F covers extreme ambient conditions. No moving parts generate noise; the assembly transmits compressed air silently. Power draw is determined solely by the connected compressor unit.

Questions about this item

How does the Velvac 022638 handle heat and cold during continuous use?

The nylon tube is rated from -85 °F to 200 °F, so it remains flexible in extreme cold and resists softening in high heat during all-day operation.

Which fittings or ports must my system already have to connect this 15 ft assembly?

Your existing air lines need 1/2-14 NPTF female threads to accept the brass ends supplied on each coil.

Will this blue coiled hose work with older brass or steel fittings I already own?

Yes, the 1/2-14 NPTF brass ends thread directly onto legacy NPTF ports without adapters, matching the FMVSS 106 standard used on older heavy-duty systems.
