Leveling dump valve for air-suspension height control and rapid exhaust
This Velvac 034126 leveling valve provides mirror-type dump valve operation for heavy-duty vehicle air suspension systems. It manages ride height by controlling air flow to the air springs. Fleet maintenance teams and owner-operators use it to replace worn or damaged OEM leveling valves on trucks and trailers. The component restores proper suspension function without modification.
As a pneumatic valve, the unit draws no electrical power and produces no operational noise or measurable heat during normal use. It operates solely on the vehicle's compressed air supply. Performance depends on the condition of the air system and supply pressure. No electrical connections or thermal management are required for installation.
The valve ships as the standalone leveling dump valve unit without additional fittings, linkage kits or mounting hardware. Installers must supply the correct air line fittings and mounting brackets for the specific vehicle application. No software, diagnostic tools or electronic calibration accessories are included or required for this mechanical component.

Mount the valve on the frame rail, connect the air lines to the supply, delivery and exhaust ports, then link the control arm to the suspension; the step most often done wrong is reversing the supply and delivery lines, which prevents proper leveling.
Inspect the air lines and fittings for cracks, check the exhaust port for blockage, and verify the control arm moves freely; replace the valve if internal seals leak air continuously or if the body shows corrosion damage.
The internal diaphragm and seals wear from repeated pressure cycles, causing gradual air leakage that reduces leveling accuracy before the valve body itself fails.
