Velvac 704065 Twist Clamp Kit

The Velvac 704065 twist clamp mounting kit is a plumbing valve component designed for secure pipe or hose connections. It provides a mechanical locking method that can be installed without specialised tooling. The kit is supplied new and ready for immediate use in automotive or industrial fluid systems.

Suits technicians needing quick clamp fastening

Mechanics who require a reusable, tool-free clamp for maintenance intervals will find the twist mechanism practical. Installers who need a permanent crimped or welded joint, or who work with pipe diameters outside the kit's range, should select a different fastening method.

Behaviour under sustained vibration and pressure

The twist clamp maintains its grip when subjected to continuous engine vibration and fluid pressure cycles. The locking geometry resists loosening over long service intervals, reducing the need for frequent re-torquing compared with simple worm-drive clamps.

Questions about this item

What size pipe or tubing do I need to already have for the Velvac 704065 twist clamp kit to fit?

The kit is designed for standard plumbing connections, so you will need compatible pipe or tubing that matches the clamp's intended diameter for a secure fit.

Will the Velvac 704065 twist clamp mounting kit work with my existing older plumbing valves and fittings?

Yes, it is made for general plumbing use and can connect to older valves and fittings as long as the pipe sizes and thread types are compatible.

How can I confirm the Velvac 704065 twist clamp kit is installed correctly and sealing properly?

After tightening the twist clamp, pressurise the system and check all connections for leaks; a dry, secure joint indicates it is working as intended.
