Left Side Heated Remote Mirror Valve

The Velvac 708211 is a motorised side-view mirror designed for the driver side of commercial vehicles. It provides heated glass and remote adjustment to maintain clear visibility in cold or wet conditions.

16 in by 8 in rectangular glass

The flat mirror surface measures 16 inches in height and 8 inches in width, giving a broad rearward field of view. The stainless-steel backing resists corrosion, while the heating element clears frost and condensation without manual scraping.

Heated motorised function

Integrated heating and motorised movement allow the driver to defrost the glass and reposition the mirror from inside the cab. Vehicles without factory wiring for heated remote mirrors cannot use these functions.

Questions about this item

Will the Velvac 708211 mirror fit the same mounting points as my current 16 in rectangular side-view mirror?

The mirror measures 16 in by 8 in with a rectangular flat glass, matching the footprint of many standard driver-side units.

How can I confirm the heating and remote motors are functioning once installed?

Activate the mirror heat switch and watch for rapid clearing of frost or condensation, then use the cab control to verify smooth movement in all four directions.

Does the 708211 package include the wiring harness and cab switch, or must I source them separately?

The unit ships as the mirror head with stainless-steel backing; the wiring harness, switch and mounting hardware are not included and must be purchased separately.
