Product Identity

The Velvac 714575 is a standard rectangular mirror valve designed for right or left mounting. It features a convex flat profile made from ABS material and includes a wedge convex element for expanded visibility.

Fitment Guidance

This component suits commercial vehicle operators needing a direct replacement mirror valve with a rectangular convex profile. It is not intended for buyers who require a specific curvature radius, a heated glass option, or a mirror assembly with integrated lighting or turn signals.

Installation Check

Verify that the existing mirror housing accepts a rectangular convex valve with an ABS housing and wedge convex inclusion. Confirm the mounting orientation matches a right or left configuration and that no proprietary brackets or electrical connectors are required for your vehicle.

Questions about this item

Will the 714575 mirror valve fit my existing rectangular mirror housing?

The valve is designed for rectangular mirrors and includes a wedge convex piece, so it mounts directly into a compatible rectangular housing.

Can I keep my current flat mirror glass and use this valve for the convex section only?

The product supports both flat and convex profiles, allowing the valve to work alongside an existing flat mirror if the housing accepts the wedge convex insert.

How can I confirm the valve is installed correctly after fitting it?

Once mounted, the mirror should adjust smoothly through the valve mechanism and the convex wedge should sit securely without play or misalignment.
