Hood Mount Mirror Bracket Kit

The Velvac 714622 kit provides a hood-mounted bracket solution for mirror installation. It is designed for automotive and heavy-duty applications where hood mounting is preferred. The kit includes the necessary hardware for a secure fit. Buyers who need a cab-mounted or door-mounted bracket will not find that style here.

Build Integration

This bracket kit bolts directly to the vehicle hood structure. It frees up door and cab space for other accessories or clearances. No heating element is included, so wiring for heated glass is not required. Installers should verify hood thickness and reinforcement before drilling.

Upgrade Path

The kit replaces damaged or missing original hood-mount brackets on compatible vehicles. It is a direct hardware swap when the existing mounting points match. The jump is worth it when the original bracket is bent, corroded or lost. Vehicles factory-equipped with a different mount style cannot use this kit without modification.
