Core specifications and target user

The Velztorm Aciex is a pre-built gaming desktop equipped with a 14th Gen Intel Core i9-14900K processor, 64GB of DDR5 memory and an NVIDIA RTX 3070 graphics card with 8GB GDDR6. It ships with a 1TB SATA SSD, a 1000W power supply and Windows 10 Home, offering a ready-to-use platform for high-refresh 1440p gaming and demanding multitasking workloads.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This system suits enthusiasts who want a turnkey machine with a high core-count CPU and ample DDR5 capacity for streaming, content creation and VR-ready gaming. Buyers who require a modern operating system out of the box, faster PCIe storage performance or a newer GPU architecture should consider other options.

The specification that decides fit

The 1TB SATA SSD provides large capacity but operates at SATA interface speeds, which are significantly slower than PCIe alternatives for game loading and large file transfers. If storage throughput is a priority over raw capacity, this drive type may not meet expectations.

Questions about this item

How loud does the 360mm AIO liquid cooler keep the i9-14900K under sustained load?

The 360mm AIO liquid CPU cooler is designed to handle the i9-14900K thermal output, maintaining lower noise levels than air coolers during extended gaming or rendering sessions.

Which display cable do I need to connect my monitor to the RTX 3070?

The RTX 3070 provides one DisplayPort output; use a DisplayPort cable for the primary gaming monitor.

Will my existing SATA hard drives work with the motherboard in this Aciex desktop?

Yes, the platform supports SATA storage; the included 1TB SATA SSD uses that interface, so additional SATA drives can be added.
